Wallace Grand Baroque Silver

Aug 12, 2014

The Wallace sterling patterns started with the creation of Wallace Silversmiths by Robert Wallace in 1815. It grew immensely over time to become one of the largest silversmiths in the world. The Grande Baroque pattern was designed by William S Warren in 1941. It was referred to as “Three Dimensional” in that the pattern could be recognized from the front, sides and back.  Produced in large quantities for decades and was very desirable in the secondary sterling flatware market. Wallace Silversmiths changed ownership several times over the last few decades and the Grande Baroque pattern is still produced, though in limited quantities.
