What makes this oval diamond so special is the way that it’s cut. This diamond was cut in the early to mid part of the 20th century which makes it from the retro period. The faceting on this diamond is consistent with how diamonds were cut at the time. An open culet and longer cut makes this diamond unique from modern oval cut diamonds.
