Financing your purchase through our Affirm Partnership

Jul 8, 2021

We’ve got some big news!

For the first time ever, you can buy jewelry, watches, and other fine goods on our website. You can browse our full-collection online or in person and discover what catches your eye. We’ve also made it easier than ever to purchase luxury items, thanks to our new partnership with Affirm

About Affirm Financing

You might know their name if you’ve recently made any large purchases — such as, say a Peloton — or even smaller ones, like a pair of glasses from Warby Parker. The beauty of Affirm is that unlike a credit card, you know exactly what you’ll owe and when you’ll be done paying. There are no hidden fees or late fees, and because there’s a fixed payment period, you know exactly how much interest will be collected.

With a credit card, if you don’t pay it off by the time the balance is due, interest will continue to accrue until both the balance and interest are paid off. With Affirm, you get a total purchase price upfront (including interest!) so you know exactly how much you’ll owe by the end of the payment period. The fixed payments are typically made over the course of three, six, or twelve months. However, depending on the size of the purchase, Affirm has been known to provide 48 month loan periods!

Most customers use a credit card in making a purchase for one of our fine goods. Now you have the option of using Affirm — and locking in your payment structure. And you can use it for an online purchase or an in-store purchase, giving you the best of both worlds! Qualified customers can choose a payment schedule that works for you for purchases up to $17,000.

How To Apply For Affirm Financing

The qualification process is super easy as well — all it requires is a soft credit pull to determine your interest rate. Then you’ll see the various installment options based on payment period and interest. It takes the guesswork out of estimating how long it will take to pay off a large purchase, as well as how much interest you might accrue.

At Samuelson’s, we’re big believers in transparency. It’s how we’ve operated for nearly a century, and it’s one of the main reasons we’re still here. Making it easier and simpler for you to say yes to the item you’ve had your eye on is a win-win for everyone.

Find Your Perfect Piece

Now that we’ve made it easier for you to browse our collection and split your purchase into fixed payments with Affirm, what are you waiting for? Drop that stunning pair of earrings you’ve had your eye on into the cart and checkout now! Or make an appointment to visit our showroom in Baltimore. Either way, it’s never been easier to buy.
