Ron Samuelson Joins Edwin Warfield, citybizlist, for a Video Interview

Ron Samuelson is CEO of Samuelson’s Diamonds and Estate Buyers, a family-owned and operated jewelry business that has been a Baltimore staple for just shy of a century. As a third generation owner, Ron stepped right into a leadership position in 1994, and immediately recognized the power of the newly emerging internet and seized the opportunity to grow Samuelson’s by making the business’ engagement ring, luxury jewelry and watch collections available for purchase online.

Over the years, Samuelson’s Diamonds has continued to adapt to the needs of the market. In 2010, as the prices of precious metals continued to rise, Ron saw an opportunity to offer a personalized VIP experience for buying jewelry and spearheaded the opening of the Chevy Chase location. After the success of this model, Ron created a unique buying and selling model, and opened a new showroom as the business’ HQ in Pikesville, MD. This new approach provides customers with a one-of-a-kind selling experience featuring private appointments for buying and selling, in a safe and comfortable environment, curated with the customer’s needs in mind.

Customers can also sell diamonds, jewelry, luxury watches, gold, and silver, and coins when they visit Samuelson’s. Most recently, Ron launched many contact free options for consumers to buy and sell safely from their home.
