Engaged! Shannon & Robert

Mar 19, 2014

After our sales superstar, Cara helped Robert pick out the perfect engagement ring, he had a hard time keeping it a secret for a month without Shannon knowing. Being the gentleman that Robert is, he took Shannon’s Dad out for dinner and drinks to ask his permission to marry his daughter. With the full blessing of both Shannon’s parents, Robert decided to pop the question on a Wednesday night in late August at an Orioles game.

Shannon & Robert

Shannon gave him a really hard time the day he wanted to propose because she had a long day at work and wanted to relax when she got home; Robert had to quickly change plans. He finally convinced her to go to dinner at their favorite spot (Mamas on the Half Shell) in the Canton Square. Mamas on the Half Shell is pet friendly, so of course they took their puppy Carson along! Robert suggested they tire the dog out at the waterfront dog park before dinner. The three of them walked along the water in Canton (which holds a special place in both their hearts). It was a gorgeous night! Robert said let’s sit down on the bench for a minute and Shannon freaked because she knew right then what was coming. Roberts not the type of guy to say let’s sit here and watch the sunset for no reason 😉

Of course she said yes and the rest is history! The perfect Baltimore proposal Shannon has always wanted.

Shannon said “yes!” And Carson approved of the ring:)

Robert and Shannon are getting married on May 3, 2014 at The Castle at Maryvale. Congratulations to you both from everyone here at Samuelson’s Diamonds! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and can’t wait to see pictures from your special day:)
