Engaged! Ryan & Heather

Jan 29, 2014

Ryan had been working with us to design the perfect ring for Heather. Everything was in the works, then Ryan got the news a couple weeks earlier than expected that the ring was ready.  This couldn’t have been more perfect timing because Heather’s mom was in town to visit and see the cherry blossoms.

Ryan, Heather and Heather’s mom made plans to head to DC for the weekend. After they had dinner, they all went to the couple’s favorite place, The Hamilton, for drinks. Ryan ordered their drinks, and while they were waiting he got down on one knee, turned Heather around to face him, and asked her to marry him.  He had a crowd too – Heather’s mother, a friend and the entire bar were watching the proposal.  Heather’s response was an excited “Well yeah!”

Ryan selected a stunning asscher cut diamond for his bride, and trust us – it’s a beauty. The couple is busy wedding planning and will tie the knot on May 17, 2014 at the St. Regis in Washington, DC.  Like many of our customers, Ryan was referred to Samuelson’s Diamonds by a friend (Andrew) – so thank you to Andrew for introducing us to Ryan and Heather so we could be a part of this special moment in both of their lives.
