Engaged! Brandon & Christen

Dec 30, 2013

Brandon had been thinking about proposing to his girlfriend Christen, so he enlisted the help of her sister, Cara.  He couldn’t have made a better choice for who was going to help him select an engagement ring, after all Cara is our all-star salesperson. She really gets to know her customer and helps guide them in selecting the perfect engagement ring, so helping pick her sister’s engagement ring was going to be an easy task.  Cara began sending Brandon pictures of the styles that she knew her sister would like and when he came down to the store for a visit from New York, she had the ring he had chosen.

While Brandon and Christen were on vacation in San Juan, Puerto Rico for their anniversary, they went for a walk along the ocean prior to dinner. They were discussing nothing in particular and then Brandon asked Christen, “Do you know how much I love you?” She responded, ” I don’t know, I guess.” He replied “Well, let me show you how much I care.” He then got down on one knee and asked her, “Will you do me the honor of marrying me?” She responded, “Shut up!”  He then stood up and put the ring on her finger. Then asked, “Did you say yes?” She laughed and said “Well no, but of course, yes!”

We have to give Brandon major kudos for taking his future sister-in-law’s suggestion and selecting such a beautiful ring for his bride-to-be. Her ring is a platinum three stone engagement ring with small pave style set diamonds going down the shank.  Brandon and Christen are planning a destination wedding scheduled for January 2015 in Florida. Congratulations Brandon and Christen from all of us at Samuelson’s Diamonds!
