Here at Samuelson’s Diamonds, there’s nothing we love more than hearing from our clients about their proposals, engagements, and weddings. Today, we’d like to share with you the story of Cliff & Christine, who found their dream engagement ring at Samuelson’s Diamonds!
It’s especially powerful knowing we made someone’s special day, extra special!
“I decided to propose to Christine at my beach house, which we call The Groove Yard. It’s the same place where we shared our first date on a weekend four years ago.
Christine was all smiles. Of course, I was as well. Max (our dog) was enjoying the good vibes, too!
We were surrounded by friends and family on this Bethany Beach vacation. So it was a challenge to find the perfect moment to propose! So I went with an element of surprise and popped the question while sipping cocktails on the deck.
Christine saw the gold wrapped box and didn’t let it get too far away. After she said yes, she was waving her new bling with pride.
I love her…and we both love that gorgeous shiny stone.
Thanks to the whole Samuelson’s Diamonds crew for all of your help!”
How Cliff Found the Perfect Ring!
Nadav Spiegler, one of Samuelson’s Diamonds most knowledgeable diamond experts, helped Cliff choose the ring for his proposal to Christine. Let’s hear from Nadav about the process:
“I worked with Cliff over the course of about 3-4 months. Buying a diamond engagement ring is a big decision and Cliff wanted to take his time and make sure he found the perfect ring!
He had a basic idea of what he was looking for: a big, beautiful stone and a great value! We quickly narrowed our search down to two rings. After thinking it over, he decided to go with the ring you see below:”

Isn’t it beautiful?! The ring is platinum and the center stone is a round brilliant diamond accented with 4 round diamonds.
How to Find an Engagement Ring You Love!
If you’re shopping for a diamond engagement ring, you might be feeling overwhelmed. There are so many choices to make and so many options. How do you even know where to start?
At Samuelson’s Diamonds, we’d love to meet with you and show you our collection of incredible engagement rings. But in the meantime, here are a few tips to get you started:
- Set a Budget – There are great diamonds available to fit any budget!
- Study Different Diamond Shapes – Round, cushion, emerald, and princess are just a few of the most popular diamond cuts available. Each is beautiful in its own way and you’re sure to find one that fits your style!
- Read Up On The 4 C’s – That’s right: clarity, color, cut, and carat weight. These are the 4 most important characteristics affecting a diamond’s value. Remember: a diamond’s shape isn’t the same as its cut. The shape is the outward appearance while the cut refers to the reflective properties (sparkle) of the stone. When you visit with us, we’ll show you different color diamonds of different sizes, cuts, and clarity. See which you like best!
