2. Get a dip – Baltimore has some of the best cool treats in the Northeast. If you like ice cream, head over to Dominion Ice Cream for a completely different taste experience. Located near Johns Hopkins University in Charles Village , the creamery creates ice cream with ingredients such as cucumbers, beets, sweet corn, spinach, butternut squash, red cabbage, and sweet potatoes. There are also more traditional flavors for those who are less adventurous. For you FroYo lovers, Fed Hill is a great place, featuring Afters Café. It continues to get rave reviews not only for its smorgasbord of frozen yogurts and toppings but for its customer service. This is the perfect spot to grab dessert and Illy drip coffee after dinner or for that lunchtime cold treat. And for those who have a hankering for gelato, don’t miss Pitango Gelato. After a few spoonfuls at this Fells Point gelato joint you’ll understand why there is often a line stretching out the door.
3. Do a dip – At first blush, you might be thinking that doing dips or other exercises is going to do anything but cool you off. However, when part of a weight-loss regimen, working out will help cool you down in the long run. The extra fat that the body carries around can cause your internal temperature to rise by several degrees.
